If you have been patiently awaiting a newsletter in your mailbox, I offer my sincere apologies. A white dove holding an olive branch in its beak should be arriving at your windowsill any moment now.

While on vacation last May, I had every intention of writing my next newsletter, even the perfect place to create – Kauai, but nothing came. I had more than a case of writer’s block. I had severe constipation……

Looking back now, I see why nothing came. It was a nine year. For those of you unfamiliar with numerology a nine personal year is the time of endings and completions. Something needs to finish to make way for a new cycle. This last year has been a year of tremendous changes in my business. Those of you who have had recent appointments know that I moved (I now have my office in my former home, and I love it.).

With this move, other things shifted as well. Each year I mentor under various people. Jack Canfield, Marcia Weider, Loral Langemier, Michael Charest…depending upon what my focus is. This year I’m mentoring under world renowned family therapist Cloe Madanes. Last year I joined Suzanne Falter-Barnes and Jefferey Van Dyke which allowed me to examine my business from the perspective of my soul. What an auspicious time – a nine year – to ask my soul what was on the horizon for the next cycle. It was even more auspicious than I had recognized. Those of you who read my occassional blog musings know that my friend, Lissa Bowles, also known as the Soul Mapper, had done my astrolgocial chart and my twelth house of spirit and surrender was hosting a planetary party!

It is fair to state that I was in the personal equivalent of the Perfect Storm. As with any storm, there is no place water does not reach. Through the gentle support and guidance of Suzanne and Jefferey I looked at my business and my life, because they are so intertwined, through the eyes of my soul. I saw the parts of life I had cast to my shadow; I looked at how those parts of my self that I put into the shadow were here to help me deliver my blessing to the world – if only I let them. By stuffing them into my shadow, not only was I not able to harness their talents, I was losing a tremendous amount of enegy to keeping them there.

Mind you, this all happens whether you like it or not when you are hosting a cosmic party in the twelth house. It is divine providence that I was working with Suzanne and Jeffrey, under whose guidance I examined all of this through the lens of a spiritual quest. And for those of you who want to take a similar journey, I did create the pathway as I was experiencing it: Your Divine Blueprint. This has been a rather lengthly explanation of the long haitus for the newsletter. I know the question many of you are asking is “So what changed”. I will answer that in my next few posts. I’m still figuring out if I am going to pay someone to continue to send the newsletters or if I’m going to keep in touch in other ways.

I’m entering into a new cycle – a one year – with lots of groundwork to be laid. It’s a time for leadership, advancement and to pursue new goals. Right now, the cosmic party is in my sun house, promoting lots of opportunity for sewing seeds of new possibility, and with that I’ve lots of projects going – new branding, new websites on the horizon, new program offerings in both hypnosis and coaching. Really, the only thing of which I am certain right now is CHANGE.

I’m fascinated that every person who walks through my door, whether it be for assistance to stop smoking, reduce pain, release weight, gain confidence in sales, heal through the pain of divorce, or to purposely discover “Why am I here?” seek the same thing.

More life. It is the nature of all life to seek wholeness and growth and to express itself fully. Even the small seed that lands in the crack of the sidewalk will do its best to grow regardless of conditions. Not only will it do its best to grow but it drops seeds, blueprints for more life.

Contained within the blueprint for life is the unique purpose that we are here to express. (Yes, you can access the blueprint with hypnosis.) Most people somewhere between the ages of 40 and 50 seek alignment with this purpose, either consciously or unconsciously. Conscious alignment comes in many forms: seeking better health, more satisfying relationships; job or career changes; and/or responding to a strong desire to live or leave a legacy that enhances life for others.

When the soul is expressing itself fully there are a myriad of markers, synchronicities that affirm our path. Doors of opportunity seem to always open. You feel passionate, full of energy. Things happen easily and the right people and resources show up just as you need them. Life flows; it feels rich, full and satisfying. People call this the “Midas” touch.

When expression is stalled life is fraught with obstacles. This is part of the unconscious alignment process. Achievements seem dull and unfulfilling. Discomfort and uneasiness predominate over opportunity. It is difficult to find the energy, the will and desire to complete things. If you continue to persevere the obstacles and difficulties become more pronounced as your soul orchestrates experience after experience to let you know you have taken a wrong turn. This wrong turn can be either in the ways you are behaving or thinking. In most cases the two are intertwined. An example of this is a person going through the motions of life in a dead-end, unfulfilling job or relationship, but choosing to stay.

Left unchecked this dis-ease begins to manifest in the body as physical symptoms which prompts most people to people seek healing. However, there have been many opportunities prior to the appearance of physical disease for a healing to take place. Our internal guidance system, comprised of our feelings and emotions, is the first alert mechanism that the soul and the current life course are out of alignment. The more frequently we experience emotions of love, joy, peace, the more in alignment we are with our soul course.

Lissa Boles, Soul Mapper, www.thesoulmap.com offers this definition of healing “the restoration to wholeness, power, creative capacity, right place and right understanding of our place in the world.”

“Healing,” according to Lissa, “is about taking that which has become broken or disjointed and helping it to line up congruently again.”

The easiest way to tell if things are out of joint is to take the eight key areas of life expression: career, recreation, relationships, finances, health, spiritual expression, health, community contribution, and rate them on a scale of one to ten according to your satisfaction level. Let one be a low expression of life and ten be life is as good as life gets for that area. Any area scoring less than a ten is disjointed and needs to be reset so it can be on course again. Consider seeking assistance and support for areas severely misaligned.
